The government has asked Local Authorities for more information about businesses than collected for previous grants, this is to ensure eligibility for the Restart Grant payment. Therefore, all businesses, including those previously paid under other grant schemes, will be required to complete an application form for the Restart Grant. No businesses will be paid automatically.

Pre-payment assurance checks will be carried out before payment can be made, this will cause a delay in processing payment.
