Over the past 18 months Runnymede Business Boost has supported over 250 companies, helping over 50 of these businesses of expand, invested over £0.5M in growing the local economy and created over 50 new jobs in Runnymede.

Businesses gathered at the North Surrey Growth Event on 13 March to celebrate the success of the service.

Paul Hadfield, Economic Development Manager at Runnymede Borough Council said, 'The service has provided a real boost for local businesses. A big thank you to Roya Croudace, Matt Heath from Coast to Capital and Paul Scott from Royal Holloway University of London for all their hard work. Although Runnymede Business Boost has now ended, free support to help grow business is still available from Business Surrey’.
