Entrepreneurs play a key role in supporting growth and innovation in our economy. This award celebrates individuals who have used their skills and initiative to anticipate needs and bring new ideas to market or to pivot an existing business in an innovative direction.

Businesses are often at the heart of our communities. This award recognises the social value that businesses bring to our residents and communities.

 

This award celebrates the achievements of new businesses which have demonstrated business excellence and have a bright future ahead.

 

The award will go to the business that best demonstrates excellence in customer service and is located in one of Runnymede's three town centres.

Neighbourhood businesses are vital for a local community to thrive. This award celebrates the efforts of businesses based outside of town centres that go the extra mile and place customers at the heart of all that they do.

This award category will showcase employers that have shown they have a firm commitment:

• to developing the skill sets of young people (under 24 years), to improve their educational prospects and enhance their employability and life progression.

and /or

• supporting people  who face additional barriers to accessing employment and  career development including, men and women who have worked in the armed forces, people with disabilities, ex offenders, people who have been homeless, care leavers and refugees.

 

This award  recognises the outstanding contribution which individuals or teams have made to their business.
